But it was fun and we have a fun weekend ahead! Jim was offered a part time job that sounds like just what we need; we went to Renfrew for dinner at Finnegan's and found a lovely new age store and I bought a nice summer dress and discovered they have interesting workshops and things. Then, when we got home, a call! There is a nice shiny blue Jeep Liberty that has just rolled off the truck. Hasn't been inspected yet, hasn't got its paperwork done but....tomorrow....sadly, can't tomorrow because daughter has an appointment in Mississauga and we have to be on the road before they open. But Monday after work...
Jim is supposed to start his job but we don't know what time yet. So now, quickly after work, go to dealership, sign forms etc., recrunch numbers (their words)and think about the van and the plates from the van and the insurance and OH MY GOD I'M FINALLY GETTING A NEW CAR IN MY NAME THAT I WANT IN THE COLOUR AND FEATURES I WANT AND I'LL PROBABLY GO BROKE BUT I'LL GO BROKE HAPPY WITH DECENT WHEELS. Silly thing is it may be just that much too small towing capacity for the trailer but it depends on what you read and who you talk to - I need to read the owner's manual. We did order the full class 3 towing package with transmission cooler and all that so we'll see.
Okay. There is a weekend waiting and people anxious to see us, and we must be up early, so
methinks this is it for now.

p.s. wrote an email to the university seeing if they can tell me what the heck happened on my exam before I book the supplemental exam. I really don't understand. Sigh.
